A Filmmaker's Guide to Tapeless Workflow

This is a must have workshop for all editors and assistant editors that want to learn the tools to work with footage from Red, XDCAM HD and P2 within Final Cut Pro.

Our tapeless workshop is your chance to get over your tapeless reluctance.  In this one day workshop, students will learn an efficient workflow that will minimize mechanical failure and operator mistakes from impacting media. Instructor will demonstrate the amazing speed tapeless acquisition affords from shoot to edit and provide students with the know-how and confidence to make it happen properly.

Topics include:

• The tapeless system, expect the un-expected
• Station setup & configuration
• Turning data into media
• Data, media and metadata management
• Codecs, data formats and data capture

 

Each student gets their own workstation.
