Learn DaVinci Resolve with Manhattan Edit Workshop's RES 101, a hands-on beginner course designed for editors, filmmakers, content creators, and post-production professionals. In our three-day course, you'll gain a solid foundation in DaVinci Resolve's complete post-production workflow, including video editing, color correction, Fusion visual effects, motion graphics, Fairlight audio editing, media management, and project delivery.

Through instructor-led demonstrations and practical exercises, you'll learn to navigate the Resolve interface, organize media, edit video, enhance images with professional color-grading tools, create basic visual effects, mix audio, and export projects for web, broadcast, and film. Whether you're transitioning from Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, or starting from scratch, this course provides the essential skills needed to work confidently in Blackmagic Design's industry-standard post-production software.

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of macOS or Windows computer navigation

  • Familiarity with video editing concepts and terminology is recommended, but no prior DaVinci Resolve experience is required
