Fellowship Program

MEWSHOP FORWARD

The MEWShop Fellowship supports emerging and early-career editors by providing financial assistance, professional education, and industry access at pivotal moments in their careers. Fellows are selected through a competitive process prioritizing creative promise, financial need, and commitment to the field. Your support of the Fellowship helps remove financial barriers and fosters a more inclusive creative community. Fellows receive:

  • Full or partial tuition for MEWShop's 6-week intensive program

  • Mentorship and professional development with Artists in Residence

  • Portfolio and work-in-progress reviews

  • Access to select Sight, Sound & Story events

  • Recognition as a MEWShop Fellow

Sight, Sound & Story

Public Educational Event & Content Series

Sight, Sound & Story is a public educational program produced by Manhattan Edit Workshop, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, featuring in-depth conversations with leading editors, cinematographers, sound artists, and filmmakers about craft, process, and creative decision-making.

Program Impact:

  • Free public access to conversations with master storytellers

  • Preservation of professional knowledge for future generations

MEWShop Scholarships provide tuition assistance to individuals seeking to participate in MEWShop’s educational programs but facing financial barriers.
