Content Creation for Social Media Workshop - $1,500
[FIVE-DAY INTENSIVE, 10am-6pm]
“Alan is a super-experienced editor and an amazing instructor. Taking his class made me realize how little I know about editing — it’s a good feeling! The workshop is hands-on and incredibly personalized. And you’ll never be able to find the things he’s teaching on YouTube or anywhere else.” - Alicia, Editor
This five-day advanced workshop focuses on designing, editing, and delivering high-performing content for today’s most relevant digital platforms. It is ideal for creators, marketers, and filmmakers aiming to craft short-form media with strong storytelling, aesthetic quality, and platform-specific impact.
Participants will learn to plan and storyboard their campaigns, organize multi-format workflows, and create content in different aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) with a deep understanding of audience targeting. Special emphasis is placed on text integration, graphic elements, use of AI in content creation, and practical publishing strategies. Each participant will develop and edit a short content campaign designed for real-world platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. The workshop ends with the final delivery of the campaign across multiple formats and group feedback.
Key Outcomes:
•Advanced knowledge of multi-format editing for social media platforms
• Storyboarding and strategic planning for digital content campaigns
• Integration of visual artwork, subtitles, text graphics, and AI-generated elements
• Publishing strategies: release planning, metadata, hashtags, and testing across devices
• Completed multi-format social media content, ready for release or portfolio
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, or equivalent editing experience.
Note: This course is designed as a stand-alone offering but works best as the second part of the two-part Editing & Content Creation Workshop. These can be taken together for a discount.
