Manhattan Edit Workshop Welcomes Editor Kyle Traynor as New Artist in Residence for Next Six Week Intensive
New York, NY — Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop) is proud to announce “The White Lotus” and “Industry” editor Kyle Traynor as its newest Artist in Residence, leading a six-week intensive course beginning April 27th.
This immersive program is designed for aspiring and professional editors looking to sharpen both their creative and technical skills. Over six weeks, participants will receive hands-on training in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, the industry’s leading editing platforms, while developing a professional editing reel that showcases their work.
As Artist in Residence, Traynor brings extensive industry experience into the classroom, offering students direct access to real-world insights and personalized feedback. The course emphasizes both the creative and collaborative aspects of editing, preparing students to work at a professional level.

Kyle Traynor is a Los Angeles-based editor drawn to bold storytelling and high-drama material. He recently worked on the Emmy Award-winning series “The White Lotus” and the critically acclaimed HBO series “Industry.”
He began his career working with director David Fincher and went on to become an editor on the groundbreaking Netflix series “House of Cards.” His work spans additional projects for Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Disney, AMC, and Lucasfilm.
